BOYLOAF ATTACKS TY DANJUMA THREATENED TO ATTACK HIS OIL WELLS IN THE REGION.

Niger Delta militant, Victor Ben Ebikabowei also known as Boyloaf has threatened to attack the assets of Theophilus Danjuma, a retired General, located in the Niger Delta, for demanding the immediate arrest of some ex-militant who threatened to wage war against the country if President Goodluck Jonathan is not re-elected.Mr Ebikabowei listed the location of some of Mr. Danguma’s assets in the region and promised to attack them if the retired General does not “retrace his steps” and apologise to the former militants and the people of the Niger Delta.
“I have elected to expose Retired General T.Y Danjuma for whom he is with this reply and advise him to apologize not only to myself, but to my brothers as well, and the entire well meaning and oppressed people of the Niger Delta,” Mr Ebokabowei said in the highly charged statement.
On Wednesday, during the commissioning of the multibillion naira Kwakwasiya city, one of the three mega cities built by the administration of Governor Rabi’u Kwankwaso, Mr Danjuma said the threat by the ex-militants is inimical to national unity and capable of plunging the country in war.
“You should arrest Asari Dokubo, Tompolo, Boylop and other Niger Delta militants for making reckless statements, which in any way does not mean keeping Nigeria as one entity and creating war situation,” he said.
Last Saturday, after a meeting at the Bayelsa State Government House, the leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force, NDPVF, Mujahid Dokubo-Asari; Victor Ben Ebikabowei, aka, Boy Loaf; Government Ekpudomenowei, aka, Tompolo; and other militants threatened to unleash violence on the country and take back Niger Delta oil should the president lose the election. They also said any attempt to dethrone Mr. Jonathan would be seen as a direct attack on the Ijaw nation.
“For every Goliath, God created a David. For every Pharoah, there is a Moses. “We are going to war. Everyone of you should go and fortify yourself,” said Mr Dokubo-Asari at the meeting.
In the statement, Mr Ebokabowei described Mr Danjuma’s demand for their immediate arrest as “reckless and provocative.”
He wondered why Mr Danjuma did not condemn the attack on the convoy of the president’s convoy in some northern states but quick to call for their arrest.
He said Mr Danjuma silence was born out of his tacit support for the attack on the president and fits into plan of “northern hegemonic establishment” to unseat President Jonathan, who is an Ijaw from the Niger Delta, by whatever means like he allegedly did in 1966.
“What are the issues that elicited Retired General TY Danjuma reckless and provocative call? When the motor convoy of the symbol of our collective National Sovereignty, President Goodluck Jonathan, was attacked in Northern Cities of Jos, Katisina and Bauchi, by hegemonic Northern establishment and their hired elements, Retired General T.Y Danjuma did not grant any interview to condemn the act, he lost his voice because he is in tacit support of such manoeuvres’ to disgrace and remove President Goodluck Jonathan from office using whatever means possible as he did in Ibadan, capital of western Nigeria in 1966 when he brutally murdered Head of State, General J.T.U Aguiyi Ironsi and Governor of Western Region, Colonel Adekunle Fajuyi and got them effectively out of office,” he said.
He added that rather than the altruistic need for national unity; Mr Danjuma call for the arrest of the ex-militants is planked on greed and the continued exploitation of the sweet crude in the Niger Delta.
“Nigerians should not be deceived; Retired General TY Danjuma is not moved to intervene in national issues for altruistic reasons, but only by greed and his thirst for Niger Delta’s sweet crude is insatiable. When Danjuma talks of unity, he really means more crude and securing the oil fields he already controls directly and indirectly.”
Describing Mr Danjuma’s role in the country’s history as “ignoble and full of criminal manipulations”, Mr Ebokabowei said Mr Danjuma should instead be arrested for murder, illegal printing and smuggling of the country’s currency and gun running.
“General TY Danjuma role in Nigeria’s history has been ignoble and full of criminal manipulations, the billions of dollars that he has made in his life time is illegitimate and stained with blood.
“If previous governments in Nigeria have not been compromised, General Danjuma would have been arrested and successfully persecuted for gun running and illegal printing and importation of Nigeria’s currency in the 1980’s up to the 90’s. Nigerians are knowledgeable of these matters, so my best advice for the famed General is to keep quiet and hide his head in shame or else he will be disgraced. Murder is a very heinous crime, since it is not statue barred, the government may do well by arresting Retired General TY Danjuma, for the murder of General J.T.U Aguiyi Ironsi and Colonel Adekunle Fajuyi.”
He said the people of the Niger Delta are not happy with Mr Danjuma for allegedly abandoning the communities where his oil businesses are located and using the money he makes to develop his native Taraba State and home state of his wife, Edo.
“The Niger Delta people are not happy with him, there is no joy where he is concerned, the communities where his oil exploration businesses are located in the Niger Delta are in a state of zero development comparable to the value of resource exploited in their community by TY Danjuma and Co., no portable water, electricity, primary school, health care centers , the indigenes are all living in squalor, yet his so called philanthropic gestures are directed and impacted majorly to Taraba State and a hand full of Northern States and minimally to Edo State in the South because of his wife’s ancestry. What an effrontery! Is this the kind of man that will now speak about the unity of Nigeria? For General TY Danjuma and his likes the unity of Nigeria centers on the control of the oil resources in the Niger Delta.”
He warned that any attempt to arrest any of the former militants would attract “grave and disproportional” consequences.
“Our eyes are now open, we are watching. Any attempt to cause any inconvenience by way of arrest or intimidation of any Niger Delta Leader will be met will stiff resistance and the consequences will be grave and disproportional. This is a promise and not a threat,” he said.

SEE GOODLUCK MASSIVE TRANSFORMATION IN CRITICAL SECTORS.

It is obvious that President Goodluck Jonathan is a silent performer who gets the job done without making too much noise. No matter what his opponents are telling you, there are incontrovertible FACTS to show that things have CHANGED FOR THE BETTER in the critical sectors of our country from Road to Rail Infrastructure, Agriculture to Health, Trade & Investment to Aviation, Education to Youth Empowerment, etc.

Anybody who tells you that Jonathan has not done anything, tell the person that he is a liar. He has done a lot of good works, especially in the last 4 years, and he is determined to do even much more.

If you cast your vote for Jonathan (as the PDP presidential candidate) on February 14, he wont need to spend about two years studying what is on ground; he has already mastered the systems and no civil servant can deceive him. Don't waste your vote on someone who will come in and start learning what is on ground, vote for Jonathan so that all the good works we will show you can continue.

Below are some of the great transformations President Jonathan has achieved:

6 Million: The Number of Farmers who now receive Farm Inputs directly

This and other achievements by President Jonathan which has led to the availability of foods for Nigerians to eat will be covered extensively in the next Post where we shall focus on Agriculture, but we want you to have it in mind that there is no longer food scarcity in Nigeria and more jobs have been created in this all-important sector due to the intervention of President Jonathan of PDP.

15 Years: The Period most of our Rail Lines where Dead until Jonathan intervened
It is only blind man that will deny what President Jonathan of PDP has achieved in this critical sector. All the way; Lagos-Kano, Port Harcourt-Enugu, Port Harcourt-Maiduguri, Abuja-Kaduna and Itakpe-Ajaokuta-Warri, all these Rail Lines that had been moribond for 15 years have either undergone rehabilitation or modernisation. More routes are undergoing rehabilitation at a fast pace.

In fact, Rehabilitation of the Lagos-Ibadan-Oshogbo-Ilorin-Minna-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano narrow Gauge Rail Line has been COMPLETED. Also, container cargo freight services from Apapa Port complex in Lagos have commenced. Five million passengers now move by Rail yearly in Nigeria compared to just One million before Jonathan came in and intervened.

24 Hours: Round the clock Operations in Nigeria's Ports
For the first time since 1970, President Jonathan of PDP has ensured that Nigeria's Ports operate all day long, non-stop, to ensure that goods are cleared in record time for the benefit of Nigerians. As a result, clearing time for trouble-free cargo has drastically REDUCED from 39 days to just 7 days.

Also, the number of government agencies at the Ports has been cut down from 13 to just 7, an action that has streamlined bottlenecks and reduced financial requirements for clearance and decongestion.

First Time Ever: Nigeria now has its own Aviation Master Plan
This is the very first time in the history of this country that Nigeria has developed its Aviation Master Plan and Road Map, courtesy of the Transformation Agenda of President Jonathan of PDP. For the first time also, Five modern international passenger terminals are being constructed simultaneously in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano and Enugu.

All the 22 federally-owned airports across the country are being remodeled, resulting in improved passenger experience and you may wish to know that there has been a robust revision of the Civil Aviation National Policy for the first time in over 12 years.

The Jonathan government has installed cutting-edge Navigation aids and Instruments Landing System (ILS), including runway lights and total radar coverage (TRACON)) to enhance air safety.

State-of-the-art communications and surveillance infrastructure and surveillance infrastructure to aid smooth communication between Air Traffic Controllers and Pilots have also been installed.

Jonathan has ensured that Nigeria now has a fully equipped Accident Investigation and Analysis Laboratory. This is the only one of such facility in West Africa and one of the only four in Africa. Security infrastructure are being upgraded at a fast pace to cope with emerging security challenges.

Courtesy of President Jonathan of the PDP, Six Airports - Lagos, Jos, Yola, Ilorin, Makurdi, Jalingo - which are strategically located in proximity to food baskets have been designated as Perishable Cargo Airports and international standards perishable cargo facilities are being developed at these airports.

* These and many more facts that we will bring to you in subsequent posts are the Silent but Remarkable and Commendable achievements of President Jonathan in Infrastructure and other sectors.

END OF CANCER +ARE YOU SUFFERING FROM CANCER? THE END IS HERE!!!

I’m always looking for natural substances that throw a “monkey wrench” into the peculiar metabolism of cancer cells. It’s vital these substances kill cancer cells and leave normal cells untouched.

6

By Dr Robert Rowen
I’ve told you about some of my discoveries in the past. They include resveratrol, green tea, Seanol, and others. But today I’m going to tell you about another plant that safely starves cancer cells as efficiently as a powerful chemo drug. In fact, it even works on pancreatic cancer cells, which are particularly difficult to kill.
This plant is a common vegetable from Asia called “bitter melon.” It is popular among the long-lived population of Okinawa, Japan.
Bitter melon juice diluted to just 5% in water showed remarkable potency in severely damaging all four pancreatic cancer cell lines researchers tested. The bitter melon reduced the viability of two cancer cell lines by 90%, while it knocked off the other two lines by a staggering 98%. And it did so after just 72 hours of treatment!

In the past, I’ve told you about apoptosis. That’s nature’s way of dealing with wayward cells. They simply kill themselves. Bitter melon juice induced this programmed cell death along several different pathways. And even better, it also activated a pathway, which shows that it knocks out the cancer cells’ metabolism of glucose. In other words, it literally starved them of the sugar they need to survive.
Do these lab dish studies apply to living animals? A resounding yes! University of Colorado researchers gave mice bitter melon at doses easily achievable in humans. The animals had a 64% reduction in pancreatic tumor size without side effects! This level of effectiveness beat the most commonly used chemo drugs for this lethal cancer.

WANTED IN DUBAI 7323 DOCTORS AND 8510 NURSES AND OTHER MEDICAL EQUIPMENT.

By 2025, there will be a need for 8,000 additional beds, 7,323 doctors and 8,510 nurses, the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) said yesterday at the ongoing Arab Health conference in Dubai.

Essa Al Maidoor, Director General of the DHA, revealed the results of the study of the Dubai Clinical Services Capacity Plan which specifies demand for both healthcare services and physicians from 2015 until 2025.

“By 2025, there will be a need for 8,000 additional beds, of which 3,917 additional beds will be required in medium and low-cost hospitals, to meet the needs of a large number of low-income people who would have gained financial access to healthcare through the new mandatory health insurance system in Dubai,” he said.

The results confirm the need for a large number of healthcare facilities in the emirate, especially in the new population clusters such as Jebel Ali, Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Lakes Towers and the new Al Maktoum Airport. A saturation of health services exists in Jumeirah and its surrounding areas, he pointed out.

One strategy to respond to these needs is the introduction of the “certificate of need” for health projects, Maidoor explained. “In line with this initiative, the DHA Health Regulation Department will issue licenses for all high-cost health projects and specialised health centres after the issuance of “certificate of need” is studied.

“This will ensure that facilities that are being built are those that are needed by the population, this will prevent underutilization or overutilization of health facilities, and it will also ensure facilities are built keeping in mind geographical location and access. Thus, investors can be assured of best return on investment and people will have access to a variety of health services.”

A capacity plan for the public sector has also been developed, and the DHA is planning to contribute with 30 per cent of the additional beds, said Salah Al Marri, Director of Corporate Excellence Department, DHA.

Projects planned and ongoing include the expansion of the Trauma Centre, Al Jalila Children’s Specialty Hospital, the DH 3 million Rashid Hospital rebuilding master plan which includes 6 new specialized centres, Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Hospital on Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed road, Al Maktoum Hospital in Jebel Ali’s Al Maktoum Airport area, and Al Khawaneej Hospital, he summarised.

While 900 additional beds will be provided through the expansion of Rashid Hospital and another 900 with the establishment of Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Hospital, Al Jalila Children’s Specialty Hospital will add another 200 beds.

“The projects will meet the increase in population growth and enhance geographical access. Al Maktoum and Al Khawaneej Hospital will be located along the major roads of Dubai such as Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed road,” al Marri added.

More nurses, doctors and specialists

There will be a need for 7,323 additional doctors and 8,510 nurses in line with the expansion plans of Dubai, concluded the study.

As a means of attracting more people to the nursing profession, the salary scale of nurses in Dubai will be increased to make it competitive with that of other GCC and Western countries, and a flexible-shifts policy (part-time and daytime hours) will be adopted for national nurses, said the DHA.

Five nursing schools will be established by 2025, and the DHA will work together with the private sector, providing training to nursing students in private hospitals. Further, a low-cost two-year study will be developed for the adoption of nursing assistants in Dubai, to partly fill the nursing gap.

In addition to the nursing schools three new medical colleges will be established in Dubai by 2025, while the University of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid for Medicine and Health Sciences will begin to receive the first patch of medical students in September 2015.

UAE physicians will be encouraged to take up post-graduate degrees in disciplines that are in short supply so that these gaps can be filled by 2025, added the DHA.

POLICE KILLED TWO PEOPLE IN ENUGU AS DEMOLITION EXERCISE TURNS OUT BLOODY.

UNEASY calm is now building up at Ngwo near Enugu, the Enugu State capital, following the alleged killing of two persons by the police during a demolition exercise in the area alleged to have been ordered by the state government.

The incident occurred at Ugwuomu-Ngwo, Oria Inye Bunker on Monday when properties worth N100 million were pulled down.

Maka Ndigbo gathered that on Monday, a police van with description ‘Distress Call B, Department, Police headquarters, was seen carrying one dead body with mobile policemen armed to the teeth to the state police headquarters.

It was further learnt that on Friday, January 16, 2015, at about 11:30 a m, one Aric Chime was said to have led a team of policemen numbering over 15 with bulldozer and excavator, in company of staff of Enugu State Capital Territory Development Authority, to the area in order to pull down storey buildings in the absence of the occupants.

One of the victims narrated: “We reported to the Ngwo community and on Monday morning, they mobilised and came to the scene protesting and in a bid to stop further demolition of peoples’ houses, suddenly policemen numbering over 50 stormed the place shooting sporadically and in the process, two people were killed”.

Another victim, who gave his name as Ezekiel Iwuorie, said that he was at Ogbete Market where his neighbour called and informed him that his house had been pulled down by one Aric Chime.

According to him, he was not given any notice by anybody or court to leave or vacate his house which he bought as land from Ngwo community.

“In 2013, one Aric Chime sought injunction from Enugu Magistrate Court stopping me from completing my storey building, which at the time, was at the plastering stage. He claimed that he bought the entire area from the Federal Government, courtesy of BPE. However, when the case started, he absconded and a judgment went in my favour to complete the house.

“So, I was shocked to see my house completely demolished with all I had achieved for years destroyed without notice to vacate the house. This matter is still at the Federal High Court where the Ngwo community said they did not know him as the land belonged to them. The case was also at the state High Court precisely at court 11. The matter came up on December 17, 2014 and the said Aric Chime wasn’t in the court”.

Efforts to hear the side of Aric Chime were not fruitful as he refused to answer calls from his GSM phone. But the state commissioner of police, Adamu Abubakar, who declined to comment on the alleged murder case, agreed that he only deployed his men to quell what he described as violent attack by Ngwo community on one Aric Chime’s company at the complex of the defunct Nigeria Coal Corporation, Enugu.

E-X-C-L-U-S-I-V-E +WHY WE CHEAT ON OUR SPOUSES =ABUJA MARRIED PEOPLE.

Abuja – Some married people in Abuja on Wednesday identified the need for material possession as the major reason for infidelity among married couples.
Respondents in separate interviews also mentioned the desire to satisfy emotional needs as another contributory factor.
Mr Johnson Eze, a civil servant, said he was cheating on his wife not because he loved her less but for the sole purpose of “catching some fun’’.
He said: “My marriage is one of the best because my wife, who is God-given, is an understanding woman and she tolerates me a lot.
“Yet, I still find myself cheating on her just for the fun of it. This does not in any way diminish the love I have for her and my lovely kids.
“I recall an incident that happened some time ago. I told my wife that I was travelling to Calabar for an official assignment, but ended up with my girlfriend in a hotel, and she found out.
“The incident almost destroyed my home but thanks to God my wife was able to forgive and forget put the ugly incident behind, ‘’ he said.
Eze, who described infidelity as `a careless act,’ advised men to desist from it.
A female boutique operator, who pleaded anonymity, said the desire to keep up with the latest fashion trend made her to cheat on her husband.
According to her, the husband, a low income earner, was financially incapable of meeting her insatiable material needs.
“Besides, my hubby and I fight over things that are not relevant and I lie to him most times to raise extra cash to buy something, which he considers unnecessary.
“I have not been faithful in my marriage because of the temptation to stay on top of the fashion trend which is way beyond the financial capacity of my husband.
“Besides the extra cash my boyfriend gives me, whenever I want to collect money from my husband for food stuff and other basic necessities I always double the cost.
“This has become a habit for me and whenever I don’t get my share in any shopping I do on behalf of the family, I get angry and pick on my husband at any little provocation, ‘’ she added.
A legal practitioner who offered a coined name – Mr Kosi Chiemela – blamed his adulterous actions on lack of intimacy, emotional disconnection and lack of friendship with his wife.
Chiemela who described marriage as “one difficult school you cannot graduate from till you die,’’ stated that the only way to escape was to stay single.
“I am a temperamental person and when I newly got married, it was not easy for my wife whose temper is also short.
“Both of us hardly agree on anything and the only escape route for me is to seek love and affection elsewhere.
“My girlfriend understands me and she tolerates a lot, unlike my wife who blows up like a bomb at the slightest provocation,’’ he said.

NUMBERING ABOUT SIX FILLING STATIONS SEALED BY DPR DEPARTMENT OF PETROLEUM RESOURES IN ENUGU.

Enugu - The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) in Enugu has sealed six fuel stations for selling petrol above the new pump price of N87 per litre.
The Corporate Services Manager of the department in Enugu, Peter Ijeh, said in Enugu on Monday that the stations on Friday sold the product at N100 as against the N87 per a liter approved by the Federal Government.
"These filling stations will remain closed for 90 days and pay a fine of N100 000 for failure to comply with the directive.
"This will serve as a warning and a deterrent to all those that are still selling above the approved price.
"They had better reduce the price to the official pump price and ensure that their meters are not tampered with to short-change the consumers,’’ he said.
A NAN correspondent who monitored the compliance rate in Enugu reports that all the filling stations visited sold the product at the approved price of N87.
Reacting to the development, the Vice Chairman of Tricycle Riders Association in the coal city, Elias Igwe, commended the department for enforcing the sale of petrol at the approved rate, adding that the marketers had remained adamant over the issue.
He expressed happiness with the Federal Government for the reduction, saying it would reduce the amount they spent on petrol.

JOSE MOURINHO HAS BEEN FINED £25,000 FOR COMMENTS.

Jose Mourinho has been fined £25,000 for comments claiming there is a "campaign" to influence referees' decisions against his Chelsea side.
Mourinho made his comments after his side were denied a penalty in the 1-1 draw with Southampton on 28 December.
The Football Association ruled Mourinho's quotes were "improper and brought the game into disrepute".
But the Chelsea boss, who was warned about his future conduct, was cleared of implying bias by referees.
During the game at St Mary's, referee Anthony Taylor booked Cesc Fabregas for diving after going down in the box under Matt Targett's challenge.
After the draw, the Stamford Bridge manager told BBC Sport: "The media, commentators, other managers are all doing it [putting pressure on referees]."
In his news conference later, he added: "There is a campaign against Chelsea. I don't know why there is this campaign and I do not care.
"Everybody knows it was a penalty."
Mourinho was also issued with a formal warning for comments ahead of Chelsea's 2-0 win at Stoke on 22 December.
The Portuguese called on referee Neil Swarbrick to produce a strong performance at the Britannia Stadium.

OIL PRICE JUMPS UP WEAKER DOLLAR AGAINST EURO.

Oil jumped as much as 3 percent on Tuesday as a weak dollar propped up commodities, but crude prices came off their highs in post-settlement trading on signs of another big U.S. supply build last week.

Oil prices were up most of the day, tracking the dollar, despite concerns about rising U.S. inventories. While some traders expressed surprise with the market's behavior, others shrugged it off as they did not think oil was on the cusp of an extended recovery because of nagging worries about the global oversupply in crude.

The American Petroleum Institute (API), an industry group, said after the market's close that U.S. oil stockpiles surged by nearly 13 million barrels last week. [API/S]

A  poll showed U.S. crude stockpiles rose by 4.1 million barrels, on average, in the week to Jan. 23. That would add to the previous week's build of over 10 million barrels, the biggest in 14 years, which had already brought inventories to the highest level on record for this time of year. [EIA/S]

Genscape, which tracks oil inventories, reported a near 2.4 million-barrel build last week in Cushing, the Oklahoma delivery point for U.S. crude futures, a market source said.

Official data on last week's inventories will be reported by the U.S. Energy Information Administration on Wednesday.

"Given the expectations in supply, it's kind of surprising to see the market pop this much today," said Andrew Lipow, president at Lipow Oil Associates in Texas.

"There's probably some short-covering after the extended selloff we've had for weeks now, but I don't think fundamentally anything's changed."

The dollar retreated from an 11-year high in the previous session, falling about 1 percent to the euro EUR= after weaker-than-expected orders for U.S. durable goods in December. [USD/]

Benchmark Brent crude LCOc1 settled up $1.44, or 3 percent, at $49.60 a barrel after rallying to just a penny short of $50. The last time Brent was at $50 was on Jan. 22.

U.S. crude futures CLc1 finished up $1.08, or 2.4 percent, at $46.23 a barrel, after a session peak at $46.55.

The API data, released two hours after the close in U.S. crude, pared the trading gains. Brent was at $49.25 a barrel by 5:00 p.m. ET, while U.S. crude traded below $45.80.

Trading volumes in U.S. oil futures were about half their usual levels, with many traders in New York working away from their desks after a blizzard swept across the northeastern United States. Thomson Reuters data showed less than 300,000 lots traded for the front-month contract in U.S. crude.

Oil prices have slumped nearly 60 percent since peaking in June, driven lower by ample supplies from the U.S. shale oil boom and the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries' decision not to cut output.

OPEC Secretary-General Abdullah al-Badri said on Monday prices might have bottomed after the seven-month selloff, and warned of a possible spike to $200 a barrel.

Investment banks, however, remain bearish on oil. Swiss bank UBS lowered its 2015 forecasts for Brent to $52.50 a barrel and WTI to $49 a barrel.

Goldman Sachs' chief commodity analyst said in a research note that demand growth in China and other emerging economies was set to slow.
