News breaking has it that another town in Borno state, Damboa is being attacked by Boko Haram terrorists this evening. The set of terrorists laying siege at Damboa are totally different from those that attacked Maiduguri early today Sunday , February 1. However, the soldiers are engaging the militants.
"Another set of terrorists are attacking #Damboa. Troops are engaging them right now," DHQ stated.
Meanwhile, the military have successfully repelled the terrorists that attacked Maiduguri during early hours of Sunday.
"Attack on Maiduguri successfully repelled. Many Terrorists were killed as we inflicted heavy casualties on them. Armored vehicles, Artillery guns and many vehicles captured from terrorists in disarray as Military pursued them in Borno and Adamawa," DHQ tweeted.
