TWO KILLED AS FACTIONAL GROUPS CLASHED OVER A GIRL FRIEND IN BENUE STATE.

TWO persons lost their lives on Sunday, as factional groups clashed over a girlfriend at Adekaa, in Gboko area of Benue State.
A source gathered that the factional group fought over a lady identified as Aisha, in which two people, including the lady, died.

It was gathered that one Tersoo and the lady in the centre of controversy lost their lives in the process.

Police spokesman, John Bako, who confirmed the report, said details of the incident was still sketchy, but gave the name of the deceased as Tersoo and Aisha.

The police spokesman said the bone of contention, which further denigrated to fisticuff, started as a struggle between two men from either of the groups, which laid claim to the late Aisha.

Bako added that weapons were freely used during the fight which led to the death of Tersoo, one of the supposed boyfriend and Aisha.

It was gathered that the incident happened at 6.00 a.m. on Sunday in the home of Tersoo, near Bristow college at Adekaa in Gboko.

But witnesses said they suspected that the late Tersoo was murdered following his involvement with a youth group in fishing out the killers of the deceased pharmacist, Cletus Labe, at his business premises in Gboko, penultimate Wednesday.
